Institute of Psychiatry in London wanted to create a virtual environment to host computer-based exercises for people suffering from schizophrenia. These exercises are help people with the disorder to learn and practice the mental skills required to organize information and perform daily tasks. TAPE created a stylized small town, which brought together all of the interactive training package tasks - consisting of houses, a train station, shops, etc. A psychotherapy program is nearing the completion of trials, and the Circuits is proving to be an engaging and unique treatment for patients. |
